THE MENACE OF PLASTIC AND SOLVING THE PROBLEM

From the desk of Mrs. Baby Abraham . . . . . .

THE MENACE OF PLASTIC AND SOLVING THE PROBLEM

We allocate lakhs of crores of rupees for cleaning rivers, roads, beaches, market places, shopping malls  etc . Why not try the simple ways of solving the problem, at the same time giving employment  and livelihood for the people.
1. Pay Rs. 150 - 200  OR 300 OR 500 =00 per kg of plastic collected depending upon the quality , thin plastic or thick .  Let it not go below Rs. 150=00 because it may be their work for two or more days . Since this amount is very valuable for them and can make a living , not even a single plastic will be left any where on streets or rivers in India. Even sea beds will be cleared of every piece of plastic . How many shark and whales perish by consuming  this. Nylon fishing nets also should be included . Even big whales  get entangled in nylon fishing net and are dying . Their stomach is full of plastic and they die in large number . Coral reefs and all underwater naturals gardens are being destroyed just like our parks, and rivers .
It is only for helping the people that we  give them an extra amount of money so that they feel proud that they can get  some profit for their effort  . This gives  confidence that they themselves can  lead their life without depending on the commission from the agent, and their life style will improve. They will become honest and trustworthy. No one will be prey to forced drug addiction which some agents force upon  them so that they will be forced to work  for meagre wages of which half will be taken by the agent !. Once they are addicted to those drugs, they will do any menial job for the next dose of drug !!!
This way we can empower them with little dignity and hold them back from the clutches of drug peddlers .. Within a few months all public places and rivers will be devoid of plastic and these plastic once bought can be recycled and used as liquid plastic to apply on road tarring. We have to check the roads we laid with plastic whether they are still intact or we have to make modification  to make them better and leakproof  to prevent
pot holes . Recycled plastic can be used for various purposes like recycled, metal, jerry, rubber, paper , gold, silver etc .
They can open their own bank account .This security feeling itself will contribute to their confidence and trustworthiness.
They need not steal for food !
We have already allocated Rs. 22,000=00 crores for River Ganga alone. So we have enough and more money  to pay extra money for the plasic, to sustain our people and at the same time Ganga will not suffocate with the tons of plastic . Fish and other water creatures will not die of suffocation . Ganga and all rivers will have crystal clear water if the effluences can be treated and recycling of water can be done . How much is the cost for small recycling units. How much is for large units. Our I IT can invent simple models for these purposes. They are innovative.
