THE U S - MEXICAN WALL

1.    CAUSES WHICH PROMPTED THE U S PEOPLE TO SUGGEST THE NEED OF A WALL

1 . Is it unemployment and subsequent poverty and low standard of living for the Mexican people ?

If so what can the U S do to prevent them from coming to the U S  by providing infrastructure and instrumentation for factories , one or two bedroom flats for them to have roof over their head to live safely

Some schools

Some vocational training centers,

Some manufacturing factories so that they can be supplementary to other factories in Mexico itself

Provision of equipment’s for the self help groups  in whatever vocation they are proficient

In short just ask the troubled Mexicans  , what will enable them to stay back in their own country. No one opt to leave their country. Once they have the necessary raw materials, instruments and

equipment’s, they will be self sufficient within one or two years. Then they will come to the U S only for higher education or white collar jobs,  medical treatment , business dealings only .

The billions U S is using as per the citizens wish they made earlier, can be utilised for these purposes if the citizens are against the wall. Mexicans will be grateful the U S permanently. They can avoid the stigma

of “ refugees “ and can have an honourable life in their mother land. They will never be a nuisance to other neighbouring  countries in future. This permanent solution can solve the never ending refugee

problem  .Tax payers will have something to be proud of. The relationship between people of both countries will be very cordial because one is helping and nurturing the  other. After the initial assistance, they will be self sufficient . The “ starting little finance “ once made available will be a boost for   these hard working people and gradually they will tend  for themselves  and even give the same assistance for those who in need  in other countries .

Any way the U S is determined to spend money for the wall according to the populous demand of the people. Why not use if in such a way that the problem is solved permanently by empowering them to have higher business dealing  with others instead of being refugees forever . Solve the root problem,   Then see what prosperity they will bring forth for themselves and for others .

If the already constructed walls can be turned into houses or flats, or schools or work shops, shopping places , market avenues  or anything that the locals suggests, they will be so thrilled.  Their cries will immediately turn to shouts of joy   and that  will be a blessing for them . What a story for the U S as well as for the Mexicans to tell their future generation !!!

Instead of war stories and war crimes and war atrocities , this will start a new story .

Let no one leave their own land because of poverty .

Give them the initial “ push “  and a sustained “ push” for a little while till they can stand on their own feet. No one will become a refugee . No one will suffer because of them . The incident where Mr. Richard Branson gave $ 300 for he South African lady and how she employed six more ladies and then returned the 300 dollars back to him after six months . One African girl in the talk show of Oprah Winphry   said that if a family has about 15 – 20 goats , they can have a good satisfied life in Africa. Same way when you really go deep into the problems of the Mexicans, their urgent need for survival may the price of one steel

 sheet !!!!  All their needs may be met with the price of 6-10 feet wall  !! They may be having land, house, other properties of their own, but what prompt them to leave all these is worth enquiring into . In the end it may be the non availability of 300 – 500  or 1000 dollars ! What a great burden to the US . How easy to relieve of it . In India, more than eight hundred villages are non existent due to lack of water . The people have land, house etc. But these material possessions are not enough for them . It is worth finding out the real causes .

 Transport,  cargo movement and hartal

Electricity distribution and hartaql

Water authority and hartal

Industries and hartal

Milk production, distribution and hartal

Labor union and hartal

Fruits and vegetables and meat business and hartal

Toddy business and hartal

Families of low income and hartal

Temple income and festivals and hartal

         In all the hartal days who profit  and who endure the after effects.

If it is beneficial for achieving great things done, why not every day be a hartal day.

Anybody willing ?????

Now citizens have become a prey for the political parties.

It is said that on the border areas, every rime a Pakistan soldier comes and ask , whose side are you , people will say. Of course, we are Pakistanies. After sometime when the Indian soldier comes and ask , whose side are you. They will promptly say , of course we Indians. In both cases , if the answer is not acceptable , they have o suffer at their hands .  In the same way, hartal organisers destroy those who do not  join them every time they declare a normal hartal or flash hartal.  Are they our “ favourite leaders or are they destroying our big and small businesses, our education, our health system, our milk production and distribution, our festivals , our agriculture  , even the life line of electricity and water without which no factory, no surgery, no research work, no space inventions, no IT sector can function and even the very family income is completely wiped out . The promise is to make the citizens happy and prosperous with all available luxury and comfort . In practice  they just do the opposite.

 In democracy , every citizen has the power and authority to refrain from joining the hartals by non co-operation . Kerala business community has done just that . Excellent example for the rest of the country. Let us show them that we cannot be subdued by non-progressive  movements which constantly destroy what ever progress the government make with so much planning, expenditure and struggle and so many man hours and materials worth of billions of rupee.  Let  us surge ahead choosing what is right and what is worthwhile . We should not be by every  every whims and fancies of destructive schemes and movements .

         When we  refrain from joining the hartal ,

 we facilitate the education of our children,

The well being of the sick and the surgical patients,

The  I T  business done internationally,

The research work in various fields including space

The functioning of nuclear reactors,

  The production of electricity and thereby all the major and minor industrial units in our country  work by which all our developmental as well as welfare schemes are accomplished,

Every family continue  to enjoy their little joys and entertainment and fulfil their dreams and aspirations  .

In short , give the citizens the favourable environment and necessary provision, they will thrive beyond our wildest imagination. Instead what we do is telling them  :

do not work ,

do not study,

Do not produce milk and meat

Do not do any research.

Do not produce electricity,

do not produce any fruit and vegetables.

Do not celebrate religious festivals .

Just celebrate hartal.

Just close all factories.

Just close all schools and colleges .

Just close all hospitals .

Just close the temples.

Just close the kitchen

Just celebrate hartal .

  Can a hundred or 200 or 300 hartal bring back the beauty and prosperity  and luxury  and peace of Kerala. If hartal can bring all these back then we must have hartal everyday  !!!!

Farm loan waiver

Farm loan waiver

Loan waver is a great comfort for the farmers.

But still there  is  no bank balance. Still the purse is empty .

To provide some money for the next crop , will give some enthusiasm and hope and a little peace for their burdened mind . Give them fertilisers free for one year . Make provision for good seed free of charge for one year .Water for irrigation is so crucial without which the seeds cannot even sprout  and grow. Even providing tanker supply for one year so that for next year irrigation pipes can be laid  with sprinkler facilities. If they can get good profit for one year, they will start taking care of the farm needs themselves . At  the most one or two years support them, by that time they must save up and continue themselves . If some natural disaster comes then it is a different matter altogether .

Most important is the “ price determination “ . Unless they get satisfying , even profitable price, irrespective of whether the harvest is surplus or scanty, the truth is that nothing grow well without constant attention and nurture and great effort ,  If you dig out a large quantity of gold or diamond, will you sell it half the price or quarter the price. If the patient die after treatment or surgery, will the hospital waive off the fees .   If the cattle produce double the quantity of milk, has ever the price of milk come down . Why this discrimination in the case of only the farmers. When they are at a loss and cannot cultivate the next year, they take loan and then when they cannot pay back the loan, the government make loan waver scheme !!!  ( The reason is that

1.     they have lost everything, no bank balance

2.     They have to meet all the expenses with the   loan money, not only farm needs, but children’s fees, medical bills, provisions,  etc

3.     They have to repay not only the loan money but the heavy interest also .

4.     Their mind is in constant turmoil and they cannot do well with a burdened heart  ) .

Therefore why not pay good price so that the farmers can be proud of their work and earn legitimate money , not loan and loan waiver scheme. For giving the  loan , the government has money. Do not make them poor and then give loan or compensation . “ TIMING “ is very important . As doctors say , if the " stenting " is done before heart attack , there will not be any damage to the heart. But once the heart attack happens, some vessels, arteries and tissues and muscles will be damaged beyond repair. Once you avoid that by prior angioplasty or surgery, the person can retain  and continue as vibrant as before . Same with all other matters. Before permanent damage is done  , do the remedial measures , which we will be doing any way , whatever be the cost. Therefore why not do it before the farmers commit suicide and before their crops wither away, before the farm lqand crack due to scarcity of water .

Give them proper price or slightly more even , so that their life supporting endeavours are held  in high esteem. The caricature of the farmer has to be replaced by  high esteemed rich farmers and agriculturists .  Keep their dignity without any  “ smear of the smell of loan and loan waiver

 scheme ” . The government has plenty of money. Use it at the correct time not after the disaster only  . Lost dignity can never be regained however much money you give later on . It is just “ burial money “ after the farmers commit suicide due to their failed crop .

   Irrigation projects , small or big , are beyond the capability of the individual Indian farmers who hold small pieces of farmland .  Hence the government support is vital  and most crucial for them . Save their time from knocking at the door of the various offices , which are most of the time futile. Let them utilize that time for their farm consolidative programs . Prompt action by the agricultural, and water authorities can bring some solace for our farmers who are at wits end .

   In a nut shell, disburse the “ loan money “ or the “  loan waiver money “  or “ compensation money “ earlier enough  so that they can start their farming on time , on “ well prepared , watered fields with grade one seed with maximum production. Everything depends on the agricultural and the water authority. Together they can make our farmers  milliners and billionaires within 5 - 10 years. Once steady profit is ensured, no one will need further assistance. Government can support new farmers every year because the older once will be having good balance in the bank by that time .

Gradually the farmers can start “ processing units “ for their respective products which will make their profit much more valuable and attractive than the “ raw products “ . Thus “ excess “

will not be wasted .   “ Excess “ will not bring the price come down . Market will hold steady price  and constant mobility of raw as well as processed products .

Export will also increase and exchequer will be again full .

The government spend money.

Time factor determines the effectiveness  and maximum productivity  and utility .
