BUSINESS TACTICS FROM THE BIBLE

LIFESTYLE TACTICS FROM THE BIBLE

1.     REMEMBER YOUR CREATOR

Parents, teachers and God, priests ( They all play vital roles in moulding the life from childhood )

2.Seek first the kingdom of God and all things shall be added unto you .

( kingdom of God means where righteousness and justice dwells )

3.Go the extra mile.

Doing something with a little more care and keeping punctuality,

Performing beyond the expectation,

beyond the “ salary limit “ , voluntarily .

Later they get the awards as a surprise .

2.     Do little extra than what is required in the normal expectation, at school, at the hospitals,  in the government offices,  etc and the results will prove these hard work !

3.     Constant vigil at work whether there are supervisors or not .

4.     Do the work to the best of your ability and do not underestimate yourself or consider yourself least worthy, but be proud of yourself whatever others say ..

5.     Remind yourself that you are the light of the world  and raise your standard of living accordingly to be a good example not a toy for others .

6.     Remind yourself that you are the salt of the earth and act as a catalyst for the wellbeing of family and society and world at large , giving wonderful flavor to the everyday mundane life.

7.     Keep the standard of behavior higher than what is prevalent in society so that others can feel the goodness in you.

8.     Be on constant vigil to keep you inner light

burning bright, trimmed, with good stock of fuel of righteousness and purity, love, mercy, justice which will involuntarily generate a  safe and secure feeling in  others in society. Then no one need be afraid of calamities.

9.     Always remember that actions speak louder than words and therefore be sure to show the inner nature by proper actions and works.

10. Judge not, that you be not judged.

11. The measurement you use is the same measurement with which you are given back .

12. Remove the plank  in your eye, so that you can detect the speck in other’s eye.

13. Do not give what is holy  and sacred to you to others because  for them it is just something to trample upon !!!

14. The shortest way may not be the correct way.

15. Let us pursue the things which make for peace and things by which one may edify another and not agonize another .

16. Food does not commend us to God

For neither if we eat are we the better,

Nor if we do not eat , are we the worse.

17. Beware, this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak.

18. Wounding the conscience of the weak is sin against you.

19. I discipline my  body and bring it into subjection , lest, when I have preached to others,  I myself should become disqualified.

20. Love of Christ constrains you.

21.  Real love of Christ has never harmed others all through the centuries. There are very few of this category . Mother Theresa, Dr. Albert Schweitzer , Mr. David Livingstone etc. Some boast that they are loving by treating cruelly in secret and pretending love outwardly .

22. Beware of what type of zeal you have. If the zeal is misplaced, it will end up as holocaust, world war etc .

23. Let a man examine himself and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup. For he who eat and drink  in an unworthy manner eats and drink  judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this reason many among  you are sick and many sleep.

24. Gifts are for edification of all .( Our material gifts of skills, talents, companies, designations, authority, power, as well as spiritual gifts all should  benefit the whole society and nation. )

25. Exercising the gifts with love :

“  Earnestly desire the best gifts . Here is the a more excellent way.

Though I speak with the tongue of men and angels,

But have not love,

I have become a sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge

And though I have all the faith,

So that I could move the mountains,

 but have not love,

I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods for the poor and

 though I give my body to be burned,

but have not love,

It profit me nothing.

      Love suffers long and is kind,

      Love does not envy,

      Love does not parade itself,

It is not puffed up,

Does not behave rudely,

Does not seek its own,

Is not provoked,

Thinks no evil,

Does not rejoice in in iniquity,

          But rejoice in truth,

          Bears all things,

         Believe all things,

Endures all things,

Love  never fails,

But whether there are prophecies,

they will fail.

whether there are tongues,

they will cease,

whether there is knowledge,

it will vanish away.

For we know in part , and we prophecy in part.

But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child. I understood as a child. I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see in a mirror, dimly,

but then face to face.

Now  I know in part,

but then I shall know just as I also am known.

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

               Pursue this love.

Thanks be to God for this indescribable gift !!!

26. The fruit of the spirit is :

love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness , goodness, faithfulness, gentleness , self – control , . Against such there is no law.

There is no law that a father or mother should love their children to a certain limit only. There is no law that the husband and wife should love each other according to any specification.

27. Bear one another’s burdens, and

28. so fulfill the law of Christ .That is why we help those who are in need voluntarily.

29. The armor :

Gird your waist with truth,

Breastplate of righteousness,

Shod your feet with gospel of peace,

Shield of faith

Helmet of salvation,

Sword of the spirit , which is the word of God, the Scripture or Vedas.

30. Scripture reveals the truth of spiritual things just as chemistry books reveal the chemical reactions, the mathematics books reveals the mathematics truths, the medical books reveals the medical secrets , the space science books reveals the space information available.

31. The effectiveness depends on the correct proportion of knowledge mixed with faith and the correct application in the correct dose. Lack of correct knowledge can hamper. If you have no faith in the law of gravitation or law concerning electricity and use it negligently, the result is  dangerous. . Dosage is so important. Too much religion with wrong zeal do more harm .

32. Divine love is  the single, simple solution for all . Administration of divine love is simple. No special training required. Anyone can administer motherly love if they so desire because we all have tasted this motherly love in our lives. It is the most simple pure  love expressed in the world.

33. Philippians 4 : 8 Our thought pattern

Whatever things are true,

Whatever things are noble,

Whatever things are just,

Whatever things are pure,

Whatever things are lovely,

Whatever things are of good report,

IF there is any virtue,

If there is anything praiseworthy,

  MEDITATE ON THESE THINGS.
