WATER FOR GARDEN IN TIME OF SCARCITY OF WATER.

From the desk of Mrs. Baby Abraham . . . . . .

WATER FOR GARDEN IN TIME OF SCARCITY OF WATER.

1 .    FOR INDEPENDENT HOUSE
outside the kitchen  wall where the  kitchen sink is ,
keep a  50 - 100 lit synthax tank
( you can make a small tank with cement. Keep 3 or 4 brick and keep a cement slab or kadappa slab or marble slab on top of the brick. Then build the side walls with brick.
Plaster the whole thing .
Fix 2 inch out let pipe with hose   for watering the plants.
2 inch pipe  for directing  the water from the kitchen sink to come into the collection tank.
2 inch pipes ensures that all the food particles that ware in the water will not clog the pipes and hose.
Watering is over within two or three minutes .
A sanitary  “ S  “ shape pipe in horizontal position  is fixed  as for  toilet ,   will ensure that no cockroach or creeping things will come into the kitchen.
No foul smell will come into the kitchen .

The same type of tank can be kept for collecting the “ water we use for bathing “ .
That also can be used  for watering plants.

For flat system
Since already all the kitchens and the bathrooms are already placed in one straight line from top to ground floor , collecting that water is made possible with little alteration in pipe connections .

FERMENTATION OF WATER
If you keep some wheat and jiggery or sugar and yeast in a perforated bottle and keep the bottle in the collection tank ,
The fermentation process will be continuously done .
You can keep them in a cloth  if you want .
After watering , a little water is left in the tank always . That water will be concentrated fermented water . Then every time more water come in, they become diluted fermented water . No harm done to plants .
Too  strong fermented water may kill the plants. If you pour whisky or brandy straight on to the plant , they die .

The reason  :
Once the fermentation smell is there no ant or cockroach will come near the root system of the plants.
The nutritious value of the water increase and give a “ kick “ to the plants as the we see the difference between eating grapes and alcohol or  eating chappathi and  drinking  whisky made out of wheat fermentation .
Here the plants will produce more fruits and flowers .
This is the beneficial part of fermentation.
We ferment wheat or maida  or flour for making bread.
We ferment rice flour with yeast for making Appam .
Here all the food particles get fermented and it is good for plants also .
They get more energy and vitality !
( The cakes when sprinkled or soaked in wine or brandy is safe from ants and cockroach ! They are dispelled by the smell of fermentation.  )
We can add the  vegetable left overs if you just mince them or blend them in the food processor   or mixi and add to the tank to ferment.  That way our road’s garbage can be reduced to a certain extent. There will not be any vegetable to degenerate and  decompose  to emit sulphur and other poisonous gases in the cities .
