   GIVING ALMS  OF WHAT IS WITHIN YOU  !!!

Luke 11:  41   ….But rather give alms of such things as you have,

Then indeed all things will be clean to you .

When we talk about cleanliness, we refer to clean nature of mind, body, habits, characteristics  , behavior, conduct,  thinking, work culture, governing  . The life is the sum total of all these.

          “  Giving alms “  is not   only giving money. Some people may not have money power. They have not much to spare beyond their needs  .

What do the teachers give to the children ? They are paid salary. But what empowerment are these dedicated teachers providing  in the building up of the nation !!!    They mold the honest, self reliant, courageous, innovative , high moral and morale   youth of our nation who is leading US FROM THE FOREFRONT TO A MORALLYT SOUND , TRUSTWORTHY NATION WHICH IS APPRECIATED BY OTHER COUNTRIES. How much we are indebted to our teachers. The compassion, and ingenuity in teaching methods encourage the children to find the hidden talents and resources within themselves and exhort them to achieve their best in all the preferred fields of activities in their adult life.

That is the true  “ giving of alms “ to the children. This they do  out of the love for their profession and for the love of the nation and for  the children who are entrusted to their trust and care.

               The working routine of the companies and factories also reveal this true nature of workmanship when all involve contribute their might and thereby the product value go up and  quality of manufactured goods  soar high on national and international level.  Here they are manifesting their innate skills and expertise which can be understood by others and experience  it through their product. This is not the work for pay.  This genuine participation enhance the pride of the nation.

            The parents, instead of advising all the time, give room for “ breathing “, breathing the free air !! will strengthen the self  confidence of the children and they will excel beyond what their parent expect of them. The fundamental nature and nature of human being is to do the correct and righteous things. Only when that freedom to manure in honesty is refused and they are forced to behave in a way a which is not in their true nature, they rebel.  You ask the child to tell  lie, he or she will hesitate first and if you beat him or pinch him and repeatedly command to tell the lie, they may obey , but the trust and confidence in their parents is lost forever. After sometime, on their own , they become proficient on telling lies and gradually graduate themselves to other wickedness also. All these happens because the parents were not sincere to the child. After that there is no need to lament that the children are disobedient. Give them the freedom to be what they are in the true sense. That is the “ GREATEST GIVING ALMS “ to our own children.  When they are assured that they have the trust of the parents and the competitive spirit given to them by the teachers, how our children will flourish morally, spiritually, mentally, psychologically and automatically materially also.

 Once the  “ INSIDE” is clean,  the expression of work or behavior will be

 bi – product of this mental attitude. No additional pampering and bribing and maneuvering and manipulation is  required . The goodness within  in will automatically project itself just as the wickedness and  vulgarity project itself  whenever the  opportunity arise. Usually the spontaneous behavior reveals our true nature !!!  How careful we should be in laying seed in our children’s minds.

Let us spread the seed of honesty, righteousness, faithfulness, compassion, justice, divine love , and ingenuity , innovative spirit, morality and build a nation of righteous people who will shine forever a beacon for others to lead them in the correct path.

         When we  adhere to the basic principle of “ GIVING ALMS OF WHAT IS WITHIN YOU “  what a great development will encompass and envelope all Nations of the world and a new generation of honest , trustworthy population will dwell on earth.All great inventions are the result of using the ingenuity of your mind, intellect and imagination.

         Let us use what is within us ,  that is , all the noble characteristics

and what  is outside,   like money , material things  etc for the benefit of humanity. After all it is a short life and it is a beautiful world.
