LYBIYAN SAHARA LAKES IN DESERT
It is said half a billion gallons of water
is lost due to evaporation due to the desert heat every year .
1.
Can we cover the surface of the
lakes with sheets / thermo Cole / plastic which can prevent evaporation. leave limited areas open.
2.
Even floating solar panels above them can produce
electricity also for the desert people.
3.
Once you cover and restrict the
exposed area of the lake , mosquito menace also will be less. People can have
more healthy life without the spread of diseases from mosquitoes .
4.
Electricity produced from the
solar floating panels can help them start some business whichever is conducive
to their area .
5.
How can we utilize every drop
of water available in the desert. Water is so precious . The generation of
power from solar panels will enable them to install purification ,
desalination, reverse osmosis of the available water to make them potable .
6.
Green houses with solar panels on top will keep the
temperature regulated to cooler levels so that they can have their own
vegetable production also.
7.
Houses and other buildings with
solar panel will make this desert areas habitable. Since most of the African
countries have high temperature and they all have air conditioning , these hot
temperature with solar producing electricity can produce air conditioning
effect for them here also .
