FISHERS OF MEN

Mark  1:17  “    Then Jesus said to them,

I will make you become fishers of men .

In the recent flood havoc in Kerala and in all  places where there are

Floods, land slides, fire, cyclone, earth quake etc there are  a lot of people who saved people even at the risk of their  own lives. We consider them truly brave  saviours of life.  Any one who save people from danger can be called fishers of men. There are people who endanger the lives of others  even while preaching saving others in every way . There are people who commit murder and atrocities. But all who save lives of people are fishers of men. If we save people from wicked habits, and characteristics and qualities which are contrary to the accepted mode of behaviour in society, which is against the harmonious virtuous living of men, women, girls and boys, they are also fishers of men. All teachers who guide their children in proper ways , are fishers of men. They mould those children’s character and virtues , thereby they are moulding the character of thousand of people whom they may not even see in their life, people of different countries when these children move to foreign lands,. The impact is so much that once you become fishers of men , the whole nation and countries will taste the benefit of it. The  world  will be full of virtuous people. No body will say to another , do the correct thing. All will be used to only virtuous things !! How our behaviour impact other’s lives , knowingly or unknowingly is worth studying and beyond imagination . We can all become fishers of men . The least we can do is :

Do not harm anyone .

That saves their lives and life of all their family members.
