THE LESSON FROM THE ARAL SEA

From the desk of Mrs. Baby Abraham . . . . . .

THE LESSON FROM THE ARAL SEA

We divert water from any river or lake without discrimination  , the result will be  “ blooming desert “ and  “ dried up lakes and rivers “ the recycling of used water from town, city and metropolises is proving beneficial and low cost ventures. The water is already desalinated and purified. Instead of discharging it to the sea without purifying make the sea contaminate and fatal to the sea flora and fauna.  Recycling is cost effective . The billions of water used all over India , if not diligently used will drown all the farmland !!!!! . Can we literally calculate the billions of water we use everyday. Also calculate the water required for drip irrigation, for each paddy or wheat cultivation which is  harvested within three or four months , of which the final period , we avoid the watering ! Therefore water the fields carefully, lest they will be flooded  with the recycled water !!
